H1N1!!!!!!!

Currently there are 599 or more cases of H1N1 in Singapore so do take precaution as it is being spread locally now and imported spreading.

Term 3 Week 1

Hi everyone! The holidays are almost over! Day 1 is going to be quite interesting, so here's a brief update:

1. There will not be assembly in the morning - please go straight to the classroom if you have received clearance at the entrance. Only the main gate is opened; the side gates are closed.
2. We will be taking our temperatures twice daily. Please remember to bring along a packet of tissue paper everyday to clean your thermometer. If you are unwell, please remain at home. A note/mc/sms from your parent will cover your absence.
3. Tuesday - Health Check up - please be in your PE attire. It starts at 8am. You will be getting your vaccination as well.
4. Wednesday - CCA status is still to be confirmed. Those who are taking NSW writing will sit for the test at noon that day.
5. Spelling is on Wednesdays after CCA as usual.

English Language Files

Hi everyone,

Hope you're enjoying your holidays. I'm now in the midst of checking some of your files, and here are some comments I would like to share with everyone:

1. A content page was issued at the start of the year. So far only 1 pupil used it to record the items filed in, marks achieved and was signed by the parent. If you have lost that copy, please create one on your own. Use the following headings: 1. No. 2. Title of Worksheet 3. Date 4. Marks 5. Parent's Signature. For the main heading, write the suitable file title.

2. Many worksheets are missing. If you have them somewhere in other files, on your table, in your textbook, under the washing machine, please collect them together and put them in. Ms Aidah gave you many worksheets, but only a few have been filed in. Please do not throw them away. File them in and record them.

3. Penmanship. It's time to improve. I would love to be impressed when Term 3 starts! :)

4. Composition Corrections. Please use this time to do your compo corrections and staple the corrections on top of the original version. You have about 3 weeks left to do this.

Do tidy them up. Your copies might be called up for checking at the end of Term 3 and Term 4. Please put in your best effort. Last bit - we'll be doing Unit 6 (5A) when Term starts. So please bring along your 5A textbook to school. Thanks!
